建構香港教育美好明天
多元
香港教育由學界及所有關心教育的社會各界人士共同持有;「學生為本,尊師重教」是教育的基石,多元持分者應共同關心教育發展;
特區政府在制定教育政策與推出專業諮詢的過程中,要鞏固並加強與各辦學團體、教育團體、學校議會以及學科團體的夥伴關係;
專業
特區政府應檢視現行教育條例,資助則例及教師專業守則,以應對日益複雜的社會變化,並實質支援教師及校長的專業發展;
特殊教育、幼兒、小學、中學以及大學教育為香港教育的整體,政府應考慮各階段、各類學校的特點、需要及差異,在資源上、政策上作出全方位的規劃及支持,加強教學課程的連貫銜接;
穩定
近年適齡學童出現驟增驟減的變化,造成幼稚園、小學和中學面對生源不足的危機。特區政府及教育局應該制定相關政策,為協助學校應對危機而給予最有力的支持措施;
簡化全港學校行政程序,增加行政支援,釋放教學空間及時間,讓教師回歸教學初心;
發展
堅持一國兩制,加強中國歷史教育、文化教育和國情教育,重視公民與法治教育,強化兩文三語的語文政策,培養學生立足香港、心懷祖國、放眼世界的胸襟和視野;
發揮香港教育獨特優勢,規劃發展成為大灣區及亞洲教育樞紐。

Building a Better Tomorrow for Hong Kong Education
Diversity
The Hong Kong education sector is the responsibility of a wide range of stakeholders within the industry, as well as community members from all walks of life who care about education development. Therefore, all stakeholders should be in involved in promoting and developing the significant principles of education, “ Value students, Respect teachers and Excel in Learning”
When developing education policy and conducting professional consultation, the SAR government should strengthen partnerships with sponsoring bodies, educational organisations, school council groups, and committees on different school subjects.
Professionalism
To tackle the complexity of social change, the SAR government should review the current Education Ordinance, Code of Aid, and Code for the Education Profession, as well as strengthen the support for the professional development of teachers and principals.
Special schools, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, and tertiary institutions are integral parts of the education system in Hong Kong. Therefore, the government should thoroughly consider the particular characteristics, needs, and differences of all schools and institutions, in order to make plans and develop comprehensive resources that support and strengthen articulation within the system.
Stability
Drastic changes in the school-aged population may cause crises in kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools. The SAR government and Education Bureau should formulate and implement relevant policies that provide supporting measures to assist schools in coping with these crises.
A core mission of education is to optimize student potential. In order for teachers to focus on teaching and learning, there is a real need to simplify the administrative procedures in all schools in Hong Kong and strengthen administrative support.
Development
Abiding by the principle of “One Country, Two Systems” our curriculum should strengthen student knowledge and awareness of Chinese History and Culture, and National Education. Stability can be achieved through education with a stronger emphasis on Civic Education and the teaching of the Rule of Law, as well as by consolidating biliteracy and trilingualism. These measures are important in nurturing students to establish their roots in Hong Kong, bond with the Motherland, and widen their global vision.
It is important to leverage the strengths of Hong Kong education and develop plans that will transform it into a leading education hub in the Greater Bay Area and Asia.
If elected, we will put forward our best efforts and diligently perform our duties and responsibilities. We pledge to nominate and select the Chief Executive and LegCo members who hold education as a priority, and are committed to drive forward education policy through long term planning and with determination.
